March 2015: Carolina Glove & Safety Company and Knoxville Glove Join
Robert C. Abernethy, Sr., president of Carolina Glove and Safety Company and Rod Townsend, president of Knoxville Glove Company announced the continuation of their combined 100 year tradition of manufacturing quality American made gloves. Carolina Glove will manufacture and ship all Knoxville Glove products.
President Abernethy stated, “This is a natural move for Carolina Glove since the Abernethy family has supported the American textile workers since 1946 by manufacturing gloves in the USA.”
Carolina Glove plants are located in Catawba, Conover, Newton, and Taylorsville, North Carolina.
